Role of Executive Functions in Lexical Selection

Abstract Objectives This article determines the number of correct responses under confrontation naming, producing category coordinates, superordinates, and features associated with target. Materials Methods Thirty participants in age range 18 to 30 years served as participants. The study was carried out Malayalam, native language A conditioned naming task administered Statistical Analysis Within-group analysis using Friedman's test. Results It found that erred more derivatives, superordinates. Conclusion amount cognitive control varied for each these conditional tasks, increasing complexity control, scores on tasks also differed, showing relationship between two aspects.
